Thurrock-November results

Hello my friends, it is time for me to show you my November results. After the results in October, my Thurrock team had climb to 17th places, but i want my team to improve more. Here is my November results.

In total we played 7 matches 4 league matches and 3 FA trophy and cup matches.

vs Newport Co
Both side never get going few chances were created and i felt my team was lucky to get a draw and a point back.

vs Nuneaton
Although they are a non-league side but they really put up a big fight. We scored 2 goals through my striker David Bryant and midfielder Grey Lincoln. They managed to pull a goal back and keep pressurize  my defense. We hold on and progress to FA cup 2nd round.

vs Baintree
My young striker scored a early goal in the 4th minute. I am very happy thinking it will be an easy game for us. But we could not get the 2nd goal and they scored a equalizer right at the end. I was very disappointed  with my player for losing concentration and allowed them to score a goal. I consider this as 2 points lost.

vs Woking
This was a fairly easy game for us as Woking is placed last in the Blue Square South. The lack of confidence was shown by their players and we scored 2 goals to gain another 3 points in the bag.

vs Bromley
They are currently 2nd place in the table, so their confidence is sky high. But we still played with spirit, we have the same number of shots as them just that my strikers lost too many chances that’s why we lost 2-1.

vs Merstham
FA trophy match against a non-league side, we managed to beat them 3-2 however i am a bit concerned how we are leaking goals in the last 2 matches. My defenders must buck up or else i will give younger players a chance.

vs Hartlepool
A no contest against a league 1 side, they convincingly beat us 2-0. I can’t fault my players for the performance, they tried their best. Hartlepool is far too strong for us.

In overall we win 3 lost 2 and draw 2 in November not very good but not too bad either considering we lost the 2 matches to a stronger side. My strikers has been firing cylinders during the last few matches. David Bryant got 5 goals and

David Knight got 3.

Here is how the table look like at the moment.

My team is currently in 16th place with a game in hand. I hope to reduce the deficit between the 5th place and us next month. I am currently trying to loan some young and good strikers. I hope they will agree to join us. If there is any good news i will introduce in my next post. See you soon..
