Hello friends, we have reached the mid-season of 2009/2010 season. After a mixed results in November, my team is currently lying in 16th place. How is my Thurrock team faring in December? Let’s take a look…

The results is quite even 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. Beginning of the month we are playing very well, however my players is getting tired easily so i rotate the squad a bit and the players who came in simply do not have the quality to  remain in the team. That’s why we lost the last 2 games of the month.

vs Worcester 2-1
They simply switch off for this game. We created numerous chances but only managed to score 2 goals, their striker is much more clinical 1st real chance resulted a goal. Take a look at the screenshot.

vs Havant & Waterlooville 1-1
My midfielder is doing their job very creating a lot of chances for my strikers yet we went behind by a goal before half time . Luckily Simon Heslop gain us a point by scoring at close range. I was quite disappointed to have draw this match as i thought we were the far better team than them.

vs Dover 3-2
My players were determined to keep the fine run going and they really show on the pitch. Both side is playing on the offensive and 5 goals were scored due to errors and individual brilliance.

vs Western-super-mare 0-1 (FA trophy 1st round)
My key players such as Simon Heslop and Alex smith are tired, so i rotate the players making a number of changes. Probably we lost the balance after that we simply cannot match them. We lost by a wonderful goal scored by their player.

vs Western-super-mare 3-3
7 days later we meet them again, this time is the league match. They are currently 22nd place in the Blue Square South but i think the last meeting gave them a lot of confidence to beat us and they nearly did. Thrice my team need to come back from behind to salvage a draw. My left midfielder Alex Smith was out injured for 4 weeks in this game. He was extremely important to my team as he have the most assist in the team.

vs Chelmsford 0-1
We had a poor game, my players is showing their tiredness in this game their passing is awful. We are lucky to lose by 1 goal.

vs Lewes 1-2
They are the current leader in the table. I know they are very strong but i have no choice but to rest some of my players. I cannot play them due to their lack of match fitness. Lewes really showed their superiority and we have no answer to their attacking powers. Look at the shots they created…

I noticed something regarding the screen shot, my team logo is shown with the Lewes team. Is this some kind of bug?

Here is how the table look like after half the season gone. My Thurrock team is lying on 13th place, 10 points off the last play-off place.

I have no success in signing some loan players, all the players who i made offer do not have intention to join a small club like us. I hope i am able to conclude 1 or 2 dealings in the coming transfer window. There will be 5 matches coming up in January, all of them are in the lower half of the table. I want my team to take this opportunity to gain as much points as possible. Can we achieve that?
