Thanks TheZiggy, the team has performed really well since struggling to adapt to the demands of the football level play in league 2. I am a little worried that the players i retain can not perform at this level but they had really surprised a lot of people and the media.
It is a really a big challenge to manage lower league teams but i believe the satisfaction is greater when you consider that the team you start with has no financial luxury, no star players, low wage budget and small stadium. You are building a club from scratch and it will probably take you longer than usual to see the results. But we will know the club inside out and it really feels like second home, at least thats how i feel.
It will be interesting to see you managing Torquay and i have no doubt that you will bring glory to them if you are the manager there.

Lye, I continue to be really impressed with what you've achieved, and I think the way the team has improved in performance since the start of the season, shows how your understanding in reading the game and tactics has got better.

Once I finally reached what I feel is the end of my current story with QPR I'm thinking of heading lower down the leagues, for a bigger challenge. My current thinking is to try managing Torquay, a team that have tended to struggle a lot mostly being in the lower reaches of League 2, but spending 2 years in the Blue Square Premier before getting back into the league again for the 2009/10 season. If I enjoy that and can eventually bring them some success I might start looking at non-league teams for an even bigger challenge.

Thanks mate, you are right. How the result ends is not in my mind, i am just concern that we give a good account of ourselves in Villa Park. Based on past experiences in FM09, i think we should get around 100-200k depends on the attendance. Hopefully with wage budget under control and a healthy attendance in our Ship Lane stadium, we will have a profit this season and some funds for transfer dealings.

That's a remarkable run, well done Lye! Traveling to Villa Park is a bonus, how the game will end doesn't matter too much. I think that the club will have no more debt problems after that game, at least for a while.

Your team has definately been scoring a lot of goals! Great month! 5 wins out of 7 games with no losses thats absolute brilliant and your position in the league isn't that bad.

@Cory,
Thanks for the compliments Cory, i don't know how i did it but i think the most important thing for me is to have the commitment and patience to succeed with Thurrock. Probably the player feels for this too.

@Sears,
Thank Sears, we have a good chance of climbing up the table in January. My players need to keep up the good form and play well. Then i believe we have a great chance this season for promotion.
