Hi guys. I hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Unfortunately, my West Brom game is unable to load, so I have to start a new game. After thinking about this for a long time, I chose Wolfsburg, in the German Bundesliga, my second faviroute team. They have four players who are clearly the best in the team. Edin Dzeko, Diego, Simon Kjaer and Diego Benaglio.

Introduction

Here is a brief overview of their history.

Wolfsburg may be owned by Volkswagen, but they are definitely not the richest club ever. Therefore, when I saw my transfer budget, I was slightly surprised. They expected a top-half finish, but I thought we could do better than that. I got 6.75million to spend, a handy budget. My main target would be a new central midfielder, and a young player who can already play in the first team. I also got a bit more from my board, giving me 8million to spend

Transfers

My first signing was Jadson, from Shakhtar Donetsk. He joins us for 6.75 million, a large sum. He is a very good player, and will slot right into the first team.

My next signing was a backup goalkeeper, Michael Rensing on a free transfer. He is not brilliant, but he will do the job until I get enough money to buy a better backup.

I then got in a youngster, Kim Won-Sik, on a free transfer again. He will be the bench player and maybe get sent out on loan in January.

My last signing of the transfer window is slightly surprising. I had been courting him in my West Brom game, but the board would not finance the move. However, the Wolfsburg board agreed to finance this move, spending 23 million over 36 months. His name is Neymar, the striker from Santos who is wanted by everyone in real-life. He is very good, with the potential to be better than Dzeko.

The four summer signings cost a total of 30 million pounds.

I also released some players and sold one player.

Friendly’s

We played a number of friendly’s to start the season, and we won every single one.

We did very well, and I hope that we could bring this form into competitive matches.

German Cup

This was a chance for players to show me what they could do in a competitive match. However, bad news struck just before this match. My starting right-back, Sascha Riether will miss between 2 and 3 months!! However, we would just keep trying to work through this, and hopefully be in a strong position when he came back.

The match was absoulte dominating for us. Veri never really got into the game. Edin Dzeko grabbed the first goal in the 20th minute, taking his goal brilliantly. Dzeko got his second goal in the 38th minute, and sealed his hat-trick just before half-time. Thomas Kahlenberg made the score 4 – 0 from the penalty spot in the 48th minute. Dzeko added the last in the 77th minute to make the score 5 – 0.

However, my joy after the match was tempered when Dzeko recieved an injury that would rule him out of a month of football.

I have high prospects for this season, but we have a tough start to the season. We play Bayern Munich first, before we visit Werder Bremen.
